I’ve always been passionate about finding the perfect pieces to complete my home, and when it came to rugs, Loloi rugs stood out.

In this post, I’m excited to share my honest experience with the Loloi rugs I’ve chosen for my home, highlighting everything from style to durability. Whether you’re considering a new rug or just curious about the brand, this review will give you an inside look into how these rugs have worked for my space.

Before I get to far into my honest review I wanted to say that I have paid with my own money for most of these rugs! But, I have also been gifted some in the past too. With that being said I am not being paid to talk about them in this post and it is in no way sponsored!

These are my own personal experiences and thoughts on this brand of rug.

Why I Chose Loloi Rugs

When we moved into our home almost 4 years ago I started shopping for new rugs. I wanted something that was not only stylish but also practical for a busy home. #littlekids&2dogs

Loloi caught my eye because of their unique designs and the variety of textures they offer. I will go more into all the textures of rugs that they have down below because they are not all alike!

Plus, when searching the Amazon reviews what I read made me feel confident I was investing in something that would last, even with kids and pets running around. Not to mention most of their rugs were a great balance between affordability and high-end design.

First Impressions

I certainly own 5 Loloi rugs! And I just ordered a new one last night 🤣 Some of my first impressions of the rugs I have received are:

  • Fast Delivery: Because you can buy them on Amazon, most of the time I have received my rugs in 2-4 days from the time I ordered!
  • Packaging: The packaging was well done, and the rugs arrived in perfect condition, which was a great first sign. I have ordered other rugs and experienced not so great packing methods.
  • Colors: When unrolling my rugs, the colors were exactly as pictured online, if not better—vibrant but not overpowering. We have all been there when ordering a rug or piece of clothing, you get it in the mail and it’s nothing like you thought it would look like!
  • Smell: The rug had a faint “new” smell, but nothing overpowering, and it aired out quickly.
  • No Curled Ends: It laid flat almost immediately, which made setting it up super easy.

Comfort and Feel

One thing I love about these rugs is how cozy they feel underfoot. Even though some of the Loloi rugs I have are lower pile, they still feel soft enough to walk on comfortably, especially with a good rug pad underneath.

In my living room, I have the Angela Rose Ember Fog/Dove rug and it’s the perfect spot to kick off your shoes and relax. And in the bedroom I love the Fabian Ivory/Charcoal rug, it adds that extra layer of warmth, which makes getting out of bed in the morning a little easier!

If you’re someone who appreciates a well designed comfy rug, I think you’d love how these feel.

Durability and Functionality

I’ve been really impressed with how well these rugs hold up, especially in the busier areas of the house. With kids running around, pets lounging on them, and all the day-to-day foot traffic, they still look great!

I’ve had mine in the living room for over a year, one in each of my kids rooms and one in our bedroom for almost 2 years and they’ve held up better than I expected.

Plus, they’re super easy to clean—just a quick vacuum or spot clean, and they’re back to looking fresh.

The only complaint I have is the Loloi rug I have in our entryway. The rug itself is beautiful and made very well. But, lesson learned that the hand-tufted of wool & jute pile rugs are not very great for high traffic areas.

This rug in particular can not be carpet cleaned. I loved the pattern on the rug but with the consistent in and out of the house the pattern is a little faded/ dirty. If I was to repurchase the Chris Loves Julia Polly Khaki/Sand again I would definitely put it in a bathroom or laundry room where it wouldn’t see as much traffic.

Buying Loloi Printed Rugs? Here’s What You Need to Know

As I stated above that some of Loloi most popular rugs are their printed 100% polyester faced rugs. If you are going to buy one of the printed rugs here are some important key facts to keep in mind:

  • They are thin: The printed rugs are completely low-profile, so if you’re expecting a high-pile or tufted texture, you might be surprised! There’s virtually no pile to them, which is something to keep in mind before unrolling one. Most Loloi printed rugs are around 1/4″ thick. One thing that will help with the feel of a low-profile rug is adding a quality rug pad! I swear by this Loloi Grip Rug Pad! I have them under every rug.
  • Super Durable: Even though they are thin they are super durable! Cleaning them is easy and they don’t get as dirty as some of my other rugs.
  • Printed not Woven: They are indeed printed and not a woven material. Their website says that they are 100% polyester faced, which makes them thinner than the 100% polyester pile rugs. Even though they are printed they are amazing quality and printed very well.

Pros and Cons

I highly recommend Loloi rugs to anyone looking for a quality rug but, with that I wanted to share some pros and cons to help you make your choice:

Cons of Loloi Rugs

  • Hand-Tufted of Wool & Jute Pile Rugs: Beautiful but not the best for high traffic areas. I have one in our front entryway and with all the foot traffic it sees it is faded and dirty. These aren’t rugs that clean well with a carpet cleaner either.
  • Price: This one is a con and a pro. Depending on the rug you want it could be very reasonably priced. I found that the printed 100% polyester faced rugs are more affordable. If you are wanting one of their higher quality rugs that are made out of wool and jute or the 100% polyester pile rugs then the price starts to rise from there.

Pros of Loloi Rugs

  • Options: I love that Loloi offers a wide range of materials to choose from. Whether you’re after a durable, low-profile rug with no pile for high-traffic areas, or something extra soft and fluffy for added comfort, they’ve got you covered.
  • Reputable Brand: Loloi has built a strong reputation for both quality and design, giving customers confidence in their purchase. They have collabed with some amazing designers like Joanna Gaines, Angela Rose Home and Chris Loves Julia.
  • Stylish Designs: Loloi rugs come in a wide variety of trendy patterns, colors, and styles, making it easy to find one that complements your home decor.
  • Durability: Most Loloi rugs that I have owned, are designed to withstand heavy foot traffic, making them great for busy households.
